Watermelon Mint Mojito Mocktail

Ingredients
  

  • - 2 cups fresh watermelon cubed
  • - 10-12 fresh mint leaves
  • - 1 lime juiced
  • - 1 cup sparkling water chilled
  • - 1 cup ice cubes
  • - 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional

Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Muddler or spoon For mint and lime
  • 1 Serving glass
  • 1 Strainer (optional)

Method
 

  1. Blend fresh watermelon until smooth. Strain if you want a clearer drink.
  2. In a glass, gently muddle mint leaves with lime juice and honey (if using).
  3. Add the watermelon juice to the glass and stir well.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Top with chilled sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves and a small watermelon slice.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

- Best served fresh. Do not store for more than a few hours.
- For a sweeter drink, add 1 tablespoon of honey.
- For a cocktail version, add 1.5 oz white rum.
- Make it sugar-free by skipping honey or maple syrup.
